  What is known about the people who lived here.? Were there always big windows or had they been replaced before the 1950's. I think I visited a one of my gg aunts in this house in the 1950's but I was so young I have just an image in my mind.

  Well I lived in this house from 1997 to 2000. It was located on the corner of Commons Rd in Chateaugay. It was on the right hand side of Rt 374 just before the Highway garage. Unfortunately it fell into disrepair and was torn down last year.

  I'm not sure if this is the one, but my father's cousin, Alfie King, and his wife ran a mom and pop store in or near Brainardsville around 1950. Earlier, Alfie was an accountant at the Lyon Mountain mine operation.
